Griddly
A configurable grid-world game engine using a YAML description language to define mechanics, observations and single- or multi-agent tasks.
What can you do with it?
Author game mechanics and compare agents under different observation types, maps and interaction rules.
What should you know before using it?
Pixel rendering and native builds have Vulkan/toolchain requirements. PyPI 1.6.7, older GitHub releases and the develop branch are different snapshots. Engine code is MIT, but official documentation says the Oryx artwork requires a purchased license for use in a product; do not assume the art is MIT.
What is verified here?
This entry was reviewed against original project material. We have not independently run the software or reproduced its results. AI-development claims are author-reported; check upstream for current versions, setup requirements, and licenses.
