ScienceBoard
A scientific desktop environment and benchmark covering molecular visualization, astronomy, GIS, algebra, theorem proving and scientific document workflows.
What can you do with it?
Evaluate agents operating instrumented scientific applications and check task completion through application-specific state and artifact evaluators.
What should you know before using it?
The original Ubuntu VM is public. Current source adds a Docker-native backend, but its prebuilt Docker image is documented as a private review artifact pending redistribution review. Some tasks depend on Google sign-in or changing web services. The reported 20-task Docker acceptance run is an upstream subset check, not full-suite reproduction by this catalog.
What is verified here?
License note: Framework code is MIT and the original VM Hub card is MIT-labeled. Bundled applications retain separate terms; the Docker delivery guide explicitly identifies ChimeraX redistribution/commercial-license constraints. The trajectory dataset has no license declaration in its inspected card.
This entry was reviewed against original project material. We have not independently run the software or reproduced its results. AI-development claims are author-reported; check upstream for current versions, setup requirements, and licenses.
