BlenderGym

A 3D graphics-editing benchmark that asks model systems to modify Blender Python code so a starting scene matches a target scene.

EvaluationConsult upstream documentation

What can you do with it?

Compare code-based edits for object placement, lighting, materials, blend shapes and procedural geometry using rendered and geometric metrics.

What should you know before using it?

This evaluates code-based scene reconstruction, not mouse-and-keyboard Blender operation. Public evaluation code and a dataset archive are available, but no benchmark-wide code or data license was found. Setup uses Python 3.10, an Infinigen Blender dependency and GPU-oriented packages; the starter script clones a dependency through SSH. Archives and execution were not tested.

What is verified here?

License note: No project-level license file was present in the reviewed repository root, and the author-linked dataset card states no license. Blender/Infinigen and model dependencies have their own terms; those do not establish benchmark-data rights.

This entry was reviewed against original project material. We have not independently run the software or reproduced its results. AI-development claims are author-reported; check upstream for current versions, setup requirements, and licenses.
